From Special Collections Research Center Wiki
The Sherman and Gloria H. Cohen Career Center will be located on the College of William and Mary campus between Walter J. Zable Football Stadium and the Sadler Center. This will be the first independent building for the Career Center at William and Mary. It "will feature an open and welcoming reception area and resource lounge, comfortable and spacious interview rooms, and a presentation room equipped with technology that develops career awareness and skills necessary for career development." "The $7.9 million facility is scheduled to be completed during the fall semester of 2010. Construction is scheduled to begin in fall 2009." A ceremonial groundbreaking took place at the site on Friday, December 5, 2008.[1]

| A Note About The Contents Of This Wiki |

| Unfortunately, many of the early original records of the College of William and Mary were destroyed by fire, military occupation, and the normal effects of time. The information available here is the best available from known documents and sources at the time it was written. Information in this wiki is not complete as new information continues to be uncovered in the SCRC's collections and elsewhere. Researchers are strongly encouraged to use the SCRC's access tools for their research as the information contained in this wiki is by no means comprehensive. |
